US woman arrested after drink driving with 15ft tree stuck on bonnet

A woman has been arrested for drink driving with a 15ft tree wedged in her bonnet.

A policeman spotted Mayann Christy’s car driving down Roselle Road, Illinois, with the large foliage stuck in her grill. The police officer stopped the 54-year-old and saw that the air bags on the vehicle had also deployed – presumably after initially hitting the tree.
