NSW Drivers *** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
The alcohol interlock order granted by a magistrate means that drink drivers will have a shorter licence disqualification period followed by a period of driving with an alcohol interlock fitted to their car. Drink drivers who have been given an interlock order by a magistrate can decide whether or not they want to join the Alcohol Interlock Program.
You must request an interlock penalty at the time of sentencing.
You CAN NOT APPEAL to get an Interlock later.
